Harrison Roofing Services create secure, long-lasting Flat Roofs.
Flat Roofing is used in many different Residential, Industrial, Commercial and Public developments. It is cost-effective, but it needs to be fitted by a highly trained Roofing Contractor or it can develop problems that will ultimately require repair.
Due to our highly skilled team and strict adherence to Best Practise, Harrison Roofing Services are one of very few UK companies to produce Flat Roofs that come with the manufacturers’ full 20+ year insurance-baked warranty. We are also very proud to have achieved Approved Installer status for the market-leading industry manufacturers, Bauder and Wolfin.
We’re flat roofing experts, with vast experience in installing the following systems:

- Green Roofs
Bituminous Felt Roofing
Forget the image of a whistling builder painting Bitumen over a stretch of felt; the modern Bituminous Felt Roofing has been updated and upgraded to meet the challenges of the latest building techniques.
As well as providing an effective and traditional covering to residential flat roofs, the newest Bituminous Felt Roofing offers a solution to one of the biggest challenges in modern Industrial architecture: structural movement. As construction has moved away from heavy insulation products and concrete supports, modern buildings now sway substantially more than ever before. Some roofing can crack and perish in these situations, but Bituminous Felt offers a strong, stable and flexible covering.
Single-Ply Roofing is one of the most versatile roofing coverings available. It is suitable for both flat roofs and pitched or irregular roofs, and is one of the most cost-effective roofing solutions on the market.
Single-Ply roofing is an excellent choice for roofs that need to accommodate foot traffic (for example green or planted roofs) as it offers a strong, non-slip surface. It is also one of the quickest installations of any roof surfacing.
Liquid Roofing Systems & GRP
Liquid Plastic and GRP roofing systems offer many benefits to customers and architects.
They are one of the best solutions to roofs with limited or restricted access, for example on larger developments where existing air-conditioning or ventilation units might make traditional roofing methods hazardous or complex.
They also offer a solution to sites where naked flames or Bitumen pots are not allowed. Liquid Roofing systems can be applied in most weather conditions, and do not require heat.
Liquid Roofing systems also offer many repair benefits, as they can be applied directly to older roofs, and allow a full repair without the cost or expense of removing damaged areas.
As urban development gradually erodes more of the UK’s green spaces, architects and ecologists have been moving back towards Green Roofs, which offer benefits both visually, and to the survival of bees, insects and other urban wildlife.
Green Roofs also offer natural insulation, and have been shown to increase the performance of solar panels.
Green Roofs require the skill of experienced and trained installers. When installed correctly, they can provide many years of environmental benefits, reduce heating costs, and add a beautiful showcase of nature.
Harrison Roofing Services offer two main types of Green Roofing: Sedum Roofs, and Modular Roofs:
The Sedum Roof is the best choice for a lightweight Green Roof, as it requires a substrate layer of only 50mm. It can also be fully and extensive planted, giving a lush, opulent covering to walls, office buildings, residences and large commercial, public and industrial developments.
Modular Roofs simply consist of ready-made cells that click together, on top of a waterproof covering, to form a Green Roof. While not as lightweight as a Sedum Roof, Modular Roofs offer more variety in the plants that can be used in the final design.
